Software rarely fixes a structural bottleneck.

A 50-page strategy document won't fix it either.

What fixes it is understanding exactly where your operations are leaking time and money and building the structure to stop it.

I find what's hiding in plain sight.

ABOUT

Who I Am

"Busy is a sympton of a broken system"

My father ran his own business. He built it with the odds stacked against him.

It never grew to where he wanted it to be, because the infrastructure wasn't there.

I watched that. I felt that.

I've spent a decade working inside some of the world's most complex organisations, including the Bank of England, AstraZeneca, WPP and SGCIB, finding the things nobody had thought to look for.

The process that looks functional until it isn't. The assumption everyone follows but nobody has verified.

That's what an operational surgeon does.

I find it. I document it. I fix it. And I build something that holds.

I grew up watching what happens when a business doesn't have that.

If you're working 60 hours a week and the business still only holds together when the right person is in the room, those hours are covering something.

Usually a system that's been left untouched, or one that worked at 20 people and quietly broke at 80.

It's fixable.

Our Expertise

"I don't do productivity hacks"

Three Stages. One Outcome.

A business that holds without anyone at the centre of it.

1

The Diagnostic

What looks like a time problem is usually friction: work routing around a process no-one checked.

1:1 sessions with the people doing the work, not just leadership. Review the primary sources, the documents, data and decisions instead of the polished summaries. The gap between the official process and the one people follow. Root cause identified before any solution is proposed.

Before a single change is made, you know exactly what's broken and what it's costing you, in pounds.

Price: £2000 - £3500

(Fixed fee, determined by size and complexity)

2

The Implementation

A diagnosis without a plan is an expensive report.

I turn what I find into a sequence your team can actually follow, then build it with them. The knowledge that lives in one person's head moves into a system the whole team can access. I build the library and embed the habits, so the business doesn't stand still moment someone steps away.

Priced on what the diagnostic finds, scaled by size and complexity of the business

3

The Hold

Change owned by no-one will always revert.

I stay through implementation until the new way of working holds under pressue, then step back. The work doesn't unravel as soon as I leave.

Scoped once implementation is under way.

Where I've Worked

Operational friction looks the same regardless of industry.

I've worked everywhere from regulated banks to global creative agencies. The problems were different. But the pattern was always the same.

Assertions made without evidence, Processes nobody has questione, Foundations nobody has checked,

I bring that discipline to growing businesses because the ones that need it most are usually the ones who think they can't afford it.

Financal Services & Banking

In a regulated environment, the cost of getting it wrong is never just operational.

I've worked inside institutions like the Bank of England and SGCIB, where precision isn't optional.

I know what that standard look slike, and how to build it into a business your size.

Global Pharmaceuticals

Cross-functional complexity doesn't have to mean permanent confusion.

I've worked with firms like Astrazeneca to close the gap between what the business needs and what the systems actually deliver.

The translation matters. Most firms skip it and pay for it later.

Creative Agencies

Creative work scales when the structure underneath it does.

I've worked with agencies like WPP to remove the friction points that stall everything.

If that sounds familiar, we should talk.

Who I Work With Now

The business has grown faster than the infrastructure holding it togther.

That's a specific structural problem, and it has a specific fix.

I work with growing London agencies and consultancies, from 15 to 200 people to find it.

CASE STUDIES

What Our Clients Say

"Don't take our word for it...here's your chance to ask around"

WPP (Campus Transformation)

The Problem: A global operation with deep silos and no reliable way to move information across regions under pressure.

The Intervention: Embedded directly into the transformation programme, managing cross-regional communication and keeping the project moving when complexity threatened to stall it.

The Result:

  • The transformation lead has a reliable operational partner from day one. Deadlines held.

“Michelle immediately got stuck into the detail and made a difference very quickly... a fantastic source of support.” — Simon Ellis, WPP

AstraZeneca (System Strategy)

The Problem: Internal teams could see the problem but couldn't translate it into a solution their tools and structure could support.

The Intervention: A deep-dive advisory session to cut through the noise, identify the real obstacles and map concrete options against their specific situation

The Result:

  • Moved from a list of concerns to a prioritised, actionable path forward. Clarity where there was none before.

“Michelle was very knowledgeable... thinking together with us listing options, solutions to our specific needs” — Andrea Peto, AstraZeneca

SGCIB (Operational Improvement)

The Problem: Established processes that had gone unexamined for long enough to become inefficient without anyone noticing

The Intervention: Business analysis and solution refinement across existing operational workflows finding where the drag was and redesigning around it.

The Result:

  • Higher quality outputs and a more consistent approach to how assignments were structured and delivered

“An outstanding consultant. She always listened carefully... and helped improve solutions” — Hanta Randrianarivo, SGCIB
